Mosquito/Copepod Kits
A resource for Florida teachers and students.
The mosquito/copepod rearing kit is available free to teachers. It contains materials for rearing mosquitoes (from the egg stage) and copepods. The kits can be used for:
- Hands-on demonstration of insect life cycles
- Science fair projects
- Class experiments such as on the effects of environmental conditions on insect development
- Predation experiments & demonstrations
